Do you wonder what the numbers 192.168.123.254 on the label on the back of your wireless router mean?

That is the private Internet Protocol (IP) address of your device. Your network has two IPs. The public one is assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and it is used to identify the network among all others across the internet. The private one is assigned by default by the manufacturer of your router. The device uses to build a personal network at your home or office. The first thing you might want to check is if your router is on. Look at the LED lights on the front of the device – they can tell you a lot about what is going on with your network.
