Troubleshooting the Two Most Common Issues with ASUS Routers

The issue is usually pretty straightforward to resolve by turning the device off and back on again. Once the router is reset, you might want to connect your laptop to it and head to the admin panel to see if any of the recent changes you’ve made were responsible for the issue.
Another common problem ASUS routers have are when the connection fails once you get your internet-capable device several meters away from the router. Note that by default some ASUS routers create two Wi-Fi networks – a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz one. Check which of the two you are connected. The 5 GHz one offers a faster and more stable connection in close range.
